Last year was momentous for our community, as Washington State became the first in the country to embrace marriage equality by popular vote. We look forward to celebrating this historic event and rejoicing in the positive effects marriage equality will have on our community and on the state. QLAW’S work to improve our community continues in 2013 as we focus on improving the lives of vulnerable members of our community, including at-risk youth and seniors.
Our keynote speaker this year is Bob Ferguson, Washington State Attorney General. We will also debut a short documentary created by QLAW celebrating Washington marriage equality and enjoy entertainment provided by Captain Smartypants, an ensemble of the Seattle Men’s Chorus. The QLAW banquet is one of the largest -attended minority bar events, with more than 400 guests, including judges, elected officials, and community leaders. QLAW is pleased to offer sponsor recognition for contributions of $1,750 (Bronze), $2,750 (Silver), $4,000 (Gold), $5,000 (Platinum), and $7,500 (Presenting). Each sponsor receives a table for 10, recognition on the QLAW website, recognition in the banquet program and print materials, and by verbal acknowledgment during the dinner program.
