The ideal candidate must have a wide-range knowledge of commercial real estate transactions, ‎including purchase and sale agreements, joint ventures, leases, acquisitions, mortgage and asset-‎based financing, dispositions and development of real property and assets, with specific ‎experience in the following areas:‎ • Financing transactions • Preparing and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, closing documents, leases and ‎loan documents • Reviewing due diligence items including organizational documents, title and survey, and ‎handling any closing issues • Negotiating, preparing and revising restrictive covenants, subordination agreements, and ‎loan agreements and modifications. Legal Voice seeks a lawyer with four or more years of litigation and/or legislative policy experience, preferably in reproductive health care law and policy, to join our dedicated staff. The position can be located in Seattle, in our collegial and fun office above Seattle’s historic Paramount Theater, or in any of the Northwest states in which Legal Voice works, in which case the person will work remotely. This position reports to Legal Voice’s Advocacy Director, and will carry out Legal Voice’s work on reproductive rights, health and justice, with some work on some health care issues affecting women and LGBTQ persons in general.
